Teamspeak viewing programs are great for websites, mobile phone or even in games. You will need to change a few things in your server first
First
You need to know your server query port. it is the default 10011
Second
You will need to enable advanced permissions in your client. This is disabled by default and we explain why in our advanced permissions article. If you need help enabling advanced permissions please read this article: http://tserverhq.com/clients/knowledgebase/109/How-to-enable-advanced-permissions-in-TeamSpeak-3.html
Third
Connect to your TeamSpeak 3 server, click in the TeamSpeak 3 client at the top menubar on Permissions and open the Server Groups. A window will open where you can setup permissions. Select now on the left side at Groups the Guest (8).
In the next area to the right you see the complete permissions of your server divided into categories (Global, Virtual Server, Channel, Group, ...). Those you can fold out to see which further subcategories and permissions you can find there. For that take a look at the permissionoverview table (directly below) to see which categories you have to fold out and how the permission for this command is called.
Permission Overview
Command | Category & Permission | Value |
serverinfo | Virtual Server Information View Virtual Server Info (b_virtualserver_info_view) |
|
clientlist | View List of Clients online (b_virtualserver_client_list) | |
channellist | View List of existing Channels (b_virtualserver_channel_list) |
|
channelgrouplist | Group Information View List of Channel Groups (b_virtualserver_channelgroup_list) |
|
servergrouplist | View List of Server Groups (b_virtualserver_servergroup_list) |
In the upper example for the command serverinfo you would have to allow the permission: View Virtual Server Info (also called b_virtualserver_info_view). To find in: Virtual Server > Information.
As soon you have found the permission do doubleclick it to add it (it should have been set automatically a check mark at Value, with that the permission is allowed then).
Should the permission have been already added (black instead of grey text) and a check mark be missing at Value then allow this permission now by setting the check mark at Value. By default all 5 permissions from the permissionoverview table (directly above) are missing.
Congratulations, mission accomplished, the viewer program should work now.
