How do I set the default channel in Mumble?

p>You can simply set this in the configuration of your server in the control panel. When you go into your configuration file you'll notice that you can enter a number this is asking for the channel ID below are the steps to get it.

  1. Create the Channel In Mumble
  2. Log into your control panel and go to your server's console log
  3. When viewing the log you can see the lines where you made the channel. Here is an example: Added channel Supercoolchannel[3:0] under Root[0:-1]
  4. This means you added the channel Supercoolchannel and it has an id of 3. 
  5. Put the number 3 into the configuration file
  6. Restart your server.

You have now changed the default channel.
